The M Needle-Free Injector should only be used for administration of U-100 insulin (100 units/ml), it consists of injector, ampoule and adapter. The injector works by positive displacement, i.e. by forcing liquid medication through a micro orifice of QS-M ampoule. This creates an ultrafine, high pressure stream of liquid medication that penetrates the skin. In this manner the medication is deposited into the subcutaneous tissue.
Technical Data
The M Needle-Free Injector is designed to apply dosages from 0.04ml to 0.50ml i.e. 4 I.U. to 50 I.U. U-100 insulin (100 units/ml). One scale marking is equivalent to 0.01ml, i.e. 1 I.U. U-100 insulin (100 units/ml).
