General Introduction
The warming system for patients is composed of controller, heating pad and heating blanket, which is specially designed to prevent hypothermia during the perioperative period. It is a neecessary heating equipment for modern operating rooms. The heating pad/blanket is made of flexible carbon fiber material with patented technology, which has advantages over the traditional heating method.
The heating principle of the warming system for patients is described as below. By means of the safe and low voltage of 24V DC, Brownian motion formed by carbon molecules in carbon fiber material converts electric energy into far infrared ray with emission wavelength of 8-15 microns, and heat energy is transmitted by thermal radiation and air convection, which heats up subcutaneous tissues of the body.
Patented carbon fiber heating technology provides stable and uniform temperature control without causing local temperature to be too high.
